Every single part of our stay was absolutely perfect. We live in the Middle East and have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world, but BSP tops them all. We stayed in one of the pool villas and we honestly cannot fault our stay. The standard of the property and the gardens are on another level! The whole area is so beautiful, but it’s the staff that make it so special. The food is incredible, housekeeping staff and the bell boys do such a good job, concierge and reception are amazing, and the teams in both the restaurants are perfect. Special mention to Lucia - such a happy person to be around, and Tommy who is so knowledgeable about the agriculture and the property!

We had with the Family a great time there, and enjoyed the beautiful experience. The Place has its own gardens where they grow their own vegetables, honey & fruits. A full farm with animals that you can visit. The property is huge that it has its own Forest that you can walk around and enjoy it at day or night, even having a lot of sitting spots, on road or tree or cliff. Rooms are luxurious and spacious. The food in there is just excellent, the quality, ingredients, and taste. Food is done by marvellous Chefs who put a lot to present the food in the best way. Just for example, there Pizza is the BEST pizza i had in Italy 🇮🇹. Service & Hospitality is outstanding, kind helpful people that will do anything to make your stay enjoyable and pleasant. Can’t say enough, but fantastic.

The BEST resort we have ever stayed at! This resort is nothing but amazing! Another word to describe this place is magical, from the moment you walk in until the minute you leave. We were truly sad to leave and we wish we stayed more days than we had. We had our wedding celebration at Borgo on 9/23 and the entire hotel staff was incredible. The rooms were insanely gorgeous!! The Santo Pietro suite was a DREAM!! We had it for 3 nights, definitely not long enough! The resort grounds are stunning!! We will return every year to Borgo to celebrate and be reminded of our beautiful wedding experience. The scent in the hotel is so amazing, I just ordered it for our home through their website. My husband had his laundry serviced by Borgo and the smell of fresh lavender radiated off his clothes for days. When I think of peaceful bliss, Borgo santo Pietro is the only place that comes to mind. Thank you for making our wedding day/weekend perfect and breathtaking ♥️ The Aiellos

I have never written a review on google but feel like I had to this time for their service improvement. Hopefully this will be taken care of and dealt with professionally. BSP is the kind of hotel I have always loved to stay. Rustic-luxe, working farm, antique furnishings, lots of greenery, comfortable room, great food, and a fabulous spa that melts your body mind and soul. I have stayed at numerous top tier hotels similar to this over the years, for example Heckfield Place in England and Soho Farmhouse. We were warmly welcomed by the owners Claus and Janette as soon as we got off from the helicopter, and had a lovely Florentine marbled paper making workshop with them. There’s a helipad on the hotel ground so everything was all nice and efficient. The hotel, surrounded by farmland and filled with stunning gardens and ponds, completely blew us away by its charm and beauty. The two suites my father and I stayed were simply fab. Extremely comfortable beds and linens, lovely touches here and there, in room floral bath prepped after our spa treatments. And oh yes, the SPA! It’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to. The 3 hours facial and massage I had with skillful Sara was everything I needed and beyond. Trattoria sull’Albero, the more casual restaurant as opposed to the 1 star’s Saporium, is better and less stuffy in my opinion. The manager (sorry didn’t get his name) knows his stuff and is the most well trained staff among all staff members in the hotel. He’s warm, friendly and professional. Food was excellent at Trattoria sull’Albero. Speaking of service. Was very let down when the reception staff asked for tips right after him showing us the rooms. I usually tip big but got very disgusted (and honestly shocked) being asked so, especially at a hotel in such high calibre. The beginning of our stay was spoiled by him. And guess what, he asked for tips again the moment we checked out. I did eventually tip the bell boys, not as much as I usually would tho, and definitely did not tip this reception guy. Why? Because tips are meant for great service. Capiche? First night was frustrating - power went out many times and came back on many times. So in between 11pm to 4am the lights went on and off more or less than 15 times. Tried calling the reception but failed to connect due to power outage. Talked to the staff the next day, all she did was brushing it off. Fortunately it got stable the second night. Well so, BSP was bittersweet for us. It’s a shame when the experience was ruined by lack of training, or sometimes just by 1 or 2 staff members, at such magnificent establishment. Sad and disappointing indeed!

Beautiful property. Wish I took more consideration to one review about the “small room” — Sir Vincent room. Indeed, it clashed with the rest of the more luxurious surroundings. The room is within the main Borgo. It feels like a Bed and breakfast (940 euro a night). The room was clean but stained furniture, dirty A/C exit, few tiny spiders on the walls, noisy plumbing. We spent 4 nights with our luggages (carry on) on the floor and having to go over them to get the bathroom. The Borgo has the potential of being a true 5 star. An association with a luxury management association i.e Rosewood or Relais et Château could help getting there. Maybe it is because we had just came back from impeccable Casteglion Del Bosco, but the service level is not up to par. We were able to look passed the room and enjoy our time there (cooking class helped - wonderful activity).

My husband and I spent two nights at Borgo Santo Pietro and it was like something out of a fairly tale! We were greeted upon arrival band escorted to Trattoria sull’Albero, one of the restaurants on property for lunch. When our room was ready we received a full tour of the suite, which was as stunning! We were greeted in our suite with a bottle of wine, some sweet treats, and a personalized note. We spent the afternoon at the pool where we had drinks and got some gelato from the gelateria on property. We ended up having dinner in our suite our first night and it was delicious! Breakfast all three days was so charming. They had a large assortment of different foods and you could order coffee and fresh cooked food as well. We spent the second afternoon at the pool again. We then asked the concierge to book us a tour of the entire estate. We had an hour long private tour of the entire estate. We learned about the history of Borgo and even got to meet the chickens and goats! We had dinner at Trattoria sull’Albero and the food was unbelievable. We ended the night with some lemoncello outside by the bar that was gorgeously lite up with outdoor lights and fire kites. We then had a staff member come to our suite to light a fire in our fire place and ran a bath in the gorgeous soaking bathtub! This hotel is amazing and we will definitely be going back!

This place is heaven on earth ! The beautiful historic building with antique furniture, the cosy and bright rooms, the romantic gardens with lots of quite little corners, the beautiful swimming pool, the breathtaking views on the Tuscan countryside, the warm welcome you receive, the very well trained and friendly staff, and last but not least, the incredibly good food from their own sustainable farm. Whether you eat at the Trattoria Sull'Albero, built around a 300 year old oak (try the Bistecca Fiorentina or the fresh fish "catch of the day") or the Saporium restaurant where a magician chef prepared the best menu we ever tasted, accompanied by the iconic wine selection (truly iconic!), you will feel at home here. We will be back for sure!
